Generate Leads is it the ONLY way to Grow your Business?

121 Days and Counting was when i first learnt how to Generate Leads into my Online Marketing Consultancy Business but it wasn't without implementing the key strategies I am going to release to you in this post.

As you know my name is Nathan Salmon from Capital-Visions Marketing Consultancy and my story was that i started out like most marketers in the Internet Marketing Arena.

I was bought in by all of the deceptive income claims, hype, smoke & mirrors but when I finally signed up and activated my affiliate Back Office the World of Internet Marketing became a chilling & frightening place filled with doubt and anxiousness. I had paid my sponsor and he departed. I had no idea about Marketing all I heard was that i was going to be making alot of money and it was going to be a 100% leveraged plug and play program.

Boy was I wrong

As time went on I began to see trends and people's buying behaviours and I quickly realised that in order for me to be advantageous in this industry I would have to learn how to generate my Own Leads. My upline was Cold Calling everyone from her family to the uninterested, unncurious, unresponsive and over-soled prospects on the back pages of adverts. She was calling 200 people per day and making a miserable income working 60 hrs + per week working from home, where was the leverage?

I myself had just come out of the Rat Race and spent my last dimes to enroll into the program and wasn't about to spend another $1,997 on over-sold leads so i started researching into how I could brand myself and posture myself to get people to call me instead of me persuing them.

I was fully aware that people only buy from those who They Know like & Trust but I had know clue on how to create an atmosphere and affluent environment for people to trust and want to buy from me.

Then I learnt the Key Principle

In order for you to recieve you must give "Massive Use Value" in this industry and when you do this you will attract a flood of leads and prospects who will do anything to enroll in Business with you. This Massive Use Value helped posture me as a Leader with me giving dynamic 'how to' information i instantly attained credibility in my niche.

If I only knew then what i know now things would of gone alot smoother. As I have learned the Secret is that the more valuable your information the more you attract leaders and prospects who see YOU as an Authority figure.

The Sad thing is that

If you are dependant on buying leads or paid advertising, if your Marketing and yout Advertising budget runs out then your Campaign will stop and you will not make any more sales or leads.

If you want to grow your Business to an elite level then you need to generate your own leads and inspire those leads and the market to talk about you and effectively become a household name. This is when Direct referrals come into place.

Now the Question is

What is better paid or free advertising well in my experience the best form of leads are those which chase you and this necessarily comes with a learning curve in acquiring the skills on how to get people to rush to work with you in your Business. There is no quick fix solution however this is the best strategy for longjevity in this industry.

Along my journey to success I saw a multitude of online marketers start and fail because they did not educate themselves on how to market and brand themselves effectively. The did not research the psychology of selling either, instead they just thought that if they pitched, pitched, pitched their programs then people would love the products or services and instantly want to join but that was not the case. I had to ask myself did i want to have short term or long term gain? Did I want to do what 97% of other online entrepreneurs did or did I want to position myself as a Leader.

My Answer was

Both I wanted to learn as fast as possible the Power of Positioning and Branding and then also how to give Measured Value and Move the Free Line. I wanted to make money now and also make long term residual money.

So what i effectively did in my campaigns was give information which others where charging for. I gave this information freely and the psychology of it was that people would say internally to themselves:

'If Nathan is giving all of this away for Free I can only imagine how powerful his paid material is i must enquire.'

When you use Attraction Marketing techniques effectively, you can go out there and become an Instant Authority. It does not matter if you are a complete newbie all you need to do is give Massive Use Value and place yourself where the Traffic source is and DOMINATE.

If by now you are saying to yourself well what if I am no whizz kid marketer and I can brand myself or where would i get the topics to give Massive Use Value on?

Here are my Top Techniques:

You can go to Ezine Articles and look at the Posts of the Hot Topics which the industry is talking about. Also you can go directly to Google alerts and get information sent to your email daily based on your target Market.

Now you may be also be thinking this is all good Nathan but if I cannot generate my own leads then is there another solution?

Well i am sorry to say this but Generating leads is simply the foundation & nucleus of the industry. It follows the principle of The Law of Averages in the fact of the more people that you put your product in front of the more people that will buy from you. In my experience in order for you to make a consistent high 5 figure monthly income online it all comes down to mathematics. You need to be generating at least 300 leads per week.

The Cruel Fact

Many people looking at this industry are skeptical or are not Action Takers you may encounter almost 80% of your prospects who are like this. The good news however is that when you find someone who is like you they instantly shine out and will become a valuable asset to your Business.

Law of Averages

So if you have 100 leads and you convert 5 of them that can still be a 5 figure + month instead of having 20 leads and converting 0.
The Key thing to remember however is that although it is a numbers game CONVERSION is Key. So when you generate all of these leads you need to continue to posture yourself right and know your worth to the industry. In Online Business it is imperitive to have both Cash Flow & Mass Leads so you must adopt these principles.

What I discovered

When you become the HUNTED instead of the HUNTER you can be yourself and speak how you do in your Marketing and advertising campaigns in your videos and blogs however but when you are HUNTING you are constantly in the prospects eyes in a position of a online salesman and you need to convince them that they should do Business with you.

I myself bought leads Cold Called and did Pay per click to try and get Leads into my funnel and generated $47,000 in my first 3 months Online. However I then learnt how to generate my own leads and traffic which chase me and that is when my income not only grew exponentially but my exposure online and the direct referrals.

My friend I want you to ask yourself, when you joined your Business opportunity did you first look at making money or generating hot targeted leads?
Are you converting as many sales as you would like on a daily basis?
What would a day in your life be like if you were to become the HUNTED instead of the HUNTER?
When I talk about Massive Use Value and 'how to' information as the formula for success in this industry, are you currently applying that type of information in your Marketing Campaign effectively enough?

Finally ask yourself what would it be worth to you know how to brand yourself effectively to get the phone buzzing all day long and getting people chasing you down because they just have to work with you and you are a celebrity in there eyes?
